This is a great, slow digestion protein powder. is higher in carbohydrates and fats that other powders of Optimum Nutrition, but it is designed that way. I need a protein powder that is digested more slowly to keep my insulin levels more even through out the day. some of the other brands that digest rapidly cause me to crash and lose energy an hour or later say. This is good stuff, if you're looking for something to supplement your diet between meals or 1 hour before exercise
